  • Html 5 on PowerPc Macs Old PowerMacs, iBooks, iMacs and Mac Mini's that use PowerPC architecture aren't supported by Apple for a few good time now. In the other hand, most of them are still good shape especially the mighty PowerMac G5.
  • OpenBSD/powerpc64 runs on PowerNV machines using the IBM POWER9 processors. A mailing list dedicated to the OpenBSD/macppc and OpenBSD/powerpc64 ports is available at ppc@openbsd.org.

I need to layout some math expressions in a web page, cant use latex or mathML, just plain HTML (not HTML5) I have an expression to the power of a different expression, for example (a+b+sqrt(c))^(2x+b) The second expression should be to the right of the first expression a bit smaller and above it. Sound simple enough but I can't seem to get it.

Old PowerMacs, iBooks, iMacs and Mac Mini's that use PowerPC architecture aren't supported by Apple for a few good time now. In the other hand, most of them are still good shape especially the mighty PowerMac G5. Obviously, they're a little obsolete on some apps but they still can do lots of things. One thing that is a problem is Internet Browsing since Safari is no longer being an update, nor is Firefox or Chrome or any mainstream browser. That means no support for new technologies like Html5 and even old like flash (Since it is stuck on an old version and also not being updated anymore.

TenFourFox browser comes to rescue your PowerPC Mac, bringing a version of Mozilla Firefox for these Classic Macs. Since it is a fork from Firefox, it works all the late technology, and on my PowerMac G5, it works very well. I'm able to watch YouTube videos, write Blog posts and use social apps like Facebook and Telegram.

The only problem I got is with flash since we still can't have an update on it. On the other hand, the only Web site that I got this problem is Amazon Music, which is already replacing in the near future the obsolete flash. TenFourFox does everything Firefox does on modern macs but on a PowerPC architecture. This is a must have application if you own one of these classic Macs.w
